This petition is the tip of a very small iceberg. I work professionally with neurodivergent people. Train local authorities and healthcare staff. I am an academic researcher, and an author on the topic of neurodiversity. Something I started lately is a substack newsletter. Alongside the mountains of free content, I am also offering a podcast for my paid subscribers on there.
This podcast explores my journey as a late diagnosed Autistic adult. I discuss things such as my experience of growing up undiagnosed Autistic. I also discuss my experience of drug and alcohol addiction and my journey into recovery. The episode releasing next monday will be looking at my experience of psychosis as an Autistic adult.
If you would like to listen to the full podcast, you can choose either a monthly subscription, or a yearly one. There are also free previews for the episodes. Check it out by clicking the link below, and please do share it if it resonates with you. It is my hope that sharing my experience is valuable to a lot of people.
I also look forward to seeing this petition get renewed social media attention once the media campaign with change begins. Please stay tuned for further updates on that. In the meantime, find the podcast at the link below. This cause isn't just a matter of justice for me, it's personal and lived experience, and I know just how life saving a timely and accurate diagnosis can be for us as you will see in the podcast.
