The Issue
15 seconds of inspection is too little time to trace CSP; we need more time.
On SQ1, there is something called parity. Parity happens 50% of the time and takes 3+ seconds to solve.
CSP is something that solves this problem, but it takes time to trace during inspection. That’s why we need to raise the inspection time for SQ1.
Having 30 seconds of inspection makes more people want to do CSP, which means there is less luck involved in SQ1, so everyone is more equal.
Some people are just better and can trace in 15 seconds, but that’s just unfair.
If the WCA really cares about its SQ1 competitors, they need to raise the inspection time.
