PvZ 2 is back with a fanmade mod, same could go for SimCity?

I recently learned that another EA game, Plants vs Zombies 2, seemed to be back to, should I say it's "glory days"? with a mod made by fans that basically "reflourished" the game to have balance changes, more levels to play and other stuff, what if, this is the start of an era where originally good games but later turned bad, all under EA's name, would come back being popular again by having a mod that solves most if not, ALL problems, give the players what they want and also bring the game back to life, I don't see why it's not possible for SimCity (2013)

If there is anyone who reads this and can make game mods (at least for SimCity 2013), make a game mod people can download where it will make SimCity great again, but as a last resort, IF ONLY EA or Maxis didn't do anything themselves
