update: actions and ways to make this year the last year of fighter jets here

Hello everyone who has added their name here--thanks to you all we can say "thousands agree we can move on from fighter jets at Seafair."   And now's the time to make some of our own noise back and get louder. 

I wanted to give a few updates now for ways to help this coming week and then there will be more coming up soon as there are events and ways to help if you can in addition to adding your voice here already (deep thank you!)

*Wed 7/15 9:30 (and again 7/29) show up online or in person at a City of Seattle Land Use Committee meeting (there is public testimony time and they take written comments).  See Seattle.gov for details on or email kimberlyvotes@gmail.com 

*Thursday, July 16th, 4:00pm to 9:00pm - Art Build Come make signs, banners, and art with coalition leader Seattle 350 (and  friends) at the Gasworks Park Shelters in preparation for the big No to Blue Angels, No to Military Air Shows rally!  Signmaking supplies (paint, brushes, sharpies, etc) will be available, but bring your own cardboard or poster board. RSVP here via 350Seattle.org Note: the form has multiple 350 Seattle art builds happening in July. Check the box for July 16th.

*Friday, July 17th at 5:30pm - Potluck Picnic and Political Education Join us at Genesee Park for a BBQ while we learn about the Blue Angel’s connection to peoples’ oppression from South Seattle to the Philippines and around the world.
