Turns out we have ended other Seafair traditions!
Hello fellow people who agree here!
First, THANK YOU!! We are about to go over 2k names calling for the end of the Blue Angels over Seattle. Less than a week ago we had 100 signatures.
While the horrible noise has stopped, let’s keep up our noise for change!
Did you know for Seafair we used to set a ship on fire loaded with explosives and let it sink into Puget Sound? Yeah, we stopped that tradition because they ran out of big ships to burn (!)* - but shows we can change again with the times!
This year, I want to turn my rage of the moment into long term change for this city! Can you help keep this going? can we get to 2500+?
The first step with this is wanting to see how many folks we can get on board with our ask, and next, we will deliver and keep going!
