This time a former Grammar School/Oxford University attendee so will we get any assistance on the school uniform issues with him I wonder, well I think it's unlikely as the subject matter was placed in a holding pattern awaiting a legislative slot! BUT the powers that be have never stated which parts of the Uniform Guidelines they are going to legislate & without knowing that, it's hard to be optimistic, it could be legislating the schools rights even more or it could be legislating the section on cost & availability which would be more favourable for parents. I do not understand why it's treated like top secret information and why the DfE cannot & will not enter into any form of constructive dialogue on the matter with anyone not even other MP's! Will you consider the epidemic of school logos on all but the undies a waste of parents money, or will you be an advocate for schools on this costly & very unnecessary practice that is infesting our so called 'FREE' education system?
