The Law Commission, a legal body that advises on new laws, has just recommended the Government consider making public sexual
harassment a crime. This is huge news for the campaign!

But we know that in order to get a new Public Sexual Harassment law, we urgently need to persuade the Prime Minister. So, we’ve got a favour to ask, will you email the Prime Minister right now and ask him to make public sexual harassment a crime?

It only takes 2 minutes to send an email to Boris and our campaign partners Plan International UK have written a template email which you can use to get started. If you’ve got a personal story you’d like to share with him, that would be really powerful too. If you could share our content on Twitter and Instagram that would also be really helpful.

Almost six months ago, the Home Office promised to review the gaps in existing legislation and consider a new law. But since then, we’ve heard nothing. Meanwhile, girls as young as ten are being harassed and followed every day. We simply can’t wait any longer. Public Sexual Harassment is relentless, and it has a huge impact on our physical and mental health.

Now is the time for Government to finally act and show it will stand up for our right to live without the fear and threat of sexual violence and harassment. Will you help us send a message to the Prime Minister and finally change the law?
