I wanted to email you to let you know about 3 ways that you can make your voice heard on public sexual harassment and the urgent need for change.
1. Will you email your MP and ask them to support our campaign to make public sexual harassment a crime?
If you’ve got a personal story you feel it is important to share with your MP that would be really powerful too. If you need to access support here's a link to our webpage with a list of services.
2. You have 48 HOURS LEFT to submit your views on the need for legal change to the Government’s Violence against Women and Girls consultation (use our handy guide if it reflects your lived experience).
This will inform the upcoming new strategy for tackling violence against women and girls.
3. Write to your/your children's school asking them to teach about public sexual harassment. You can access our template letter here. You can read more about our educational work with the article attached to the update.
