Unbelievably excited to share today's launch of Our Schools Now - a new part of the campaign that aims for every child in the UK to be educated about public sexual harassment (PSH for short).
To make this reality, we need your help!
1. Can you retweet our launch tweet? Or share our Facebook post?
2. Can you contact your school? Whether you’re a student, alumni or parent, you can contact your local secondary and urge them to do more to tackle public sexual harassment. You can click here to access our template email, or find it on our website.
3. Use (and share) our resources! We've just released an informative resource pack and a report on schoolchildren's experiences of public sexual harassment. Read and share them.
4. If you're a teacher or educator, we would love for you to use our teacher resources - including lesson plans, teacher activities and more ) on public sexual harassment. If you do so, please email us at ourstreetsnow@hotmail.com
Educating the next generation of children about public sexual harassment is the most crucial step in challenging the societal norms which allow this violence to take place.
We hope you will join us in the fight against public sexual harassment.
