Letchworth 20mph Zone Consultation - Please complete this survey!

Hello All

Thank you again for your support in petitioning for a safe crossing outside Wilbury Junior School in Letchworth. We have nearly 600 signatures, which is fantastic!

We have another opportunity to voice our concerns. Hertfordshire County Council have a local area consultation on which roads we believe should have a 20mph zone. It would be great if all signatories could also complete this survey and say 'Yes' to question 6 for "Wilbury Hill Road/ Wilbury Road/ Norton Road/ Bedford Road" before 22nd November 2026. 

Sadly, Hertfordshire County Council have rejected the need for a safe crossing in this location. However,  we believe their site risk assessment was incomplete and not based on the statutory guidance, so we will be challenging them further on this outcome.
