Don’t let Meningococcal B take another Life - Join Our Campaign!
We need 10,000 signatures by November 22, 2023, when our CEO will present the petition to the NSW Parliament.
Meningococcal B is a life-threatening bacterial infection that can kill within hours. It can cause severe brain damage, deafness, and limb loss. The number of cases has increased this year over last year's case numbers already of Meningococcal B!
There is a vaccine that can prevent this disease, but it is not funded by the NSW government. This means that parents have to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to protect their children. This is unfair and unacceptable.
We are calling on the NSW government to fund the Meningococcal B vaccine in the state immunisation program, as South Australia and Queensland have already done. This will save lives and reduce the burden on our health system.
We need your help to make this happen. We have started a petition to urge the NSW government to B the Change for Brayden and fund the Meningococcal B vaccine. We need 10,000 signatures by November 22, 2023, when our CEO will present the petition to the NSW Parliament. Currently at 7,401.
