Ark Valley Humane Society is going to kill a 4-year old Great Dane. They are refusing to give him a second chance! They went to court to fight to kill him!
CHECK OUT THEIR REVIEWS!! Why kill Echo when he's got two extremely experienced rescues stepping up fully??!!

Can you help save Echo? He's set to die tomorrow at 10 am. But he doesn't need to die! He has TWO rescue orgs stepping up to intake him but the manager, Amber Vanleuken is refusing to release him because she's upset of all the media attention criticizing her. She has publicly admitted that her staff deliberately frightened Echo in his first hour at the shelter, and out of fear...he nipped. He didn't bite. He nipped. That's a 170 pounds* Great Dane that was so scared and instead of attacking, Echo nipped the inexperienced trainer's hand. Then a second trainer tried to show Echo who's boss...and again Echo only nipped the other trainer.
*Turns out Echo only weighs 145 pounds and Ark Valley Humane Society's executive director Amber Vanleuken now admits to guessing his weight...this is pathetic. And the board of directors are clear in that they don't care. The executives want Echo dead. Their staff want Echo to live. Weird when management just wants to kill an innocent dog they cruelly caused to spiral.
Humane Society Wants To Kill Echo Instead Of Rehoming Him
In addition to Arf Arf Bark Bark Rescue, a second viable rescue has stepped up to intake Echo.
Amy Rainoshek is the founder of Save Rocky The Great Dane Rescue And Rehab. It is North America's largest Great Dane rescue with over 11,000 Great Danes rescued.
AVHS is proving that they don't trust big dogs. Then why be an animal shelter and rescue?? I understand there was a Chihuahua, one of sixteen they rescued from a hoarding situation, that severely bit the hand of one of AVHS’ fosters. She is unable to fully use her hand. This is an exceedingly far worse case than Echo. That dog was then adopted out by AVHS. So I get the 'big dogs are scarier' but the liabilities are still the same.
Witness at today's court hearing saw Ms. Vanleuken "smirk at the grieving family upon winning the case". Geezus. Wow. She's not an animal lover knowing that she gets to kill him tomorrow.
To be honest...if AVHS was interested in doing the right thing, there would not be a kill order for Echo for tomorrow morning. Ark Valley Humane Society.
Ask Ark Valley Humane Society to PLEASE do the right thing for Echo. He has two viable "last options".
No dog wants to die.
