As the Canadian election nears, I am strongly encouraging everyone that has signed our petition to vote and re-elect Honourable Member of Parliament Mr. Ken Hardie.
If you do not reside in Honourable Hardie's district, please contact your local Member of Parliament and ask them their position on criminalizing dog and cat meat in Canada. Share this link with them:

Honourable Hardie was immediately on-board with criminalizing human consumption of dog and cat meat in Canada. An animal lover with his own family of pets, he has communicated with the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Agriculture regarding our important need to once and for all make this illegal in Canada.
Honourable Hardie will be presenting our petition to the House of Commons this December 2019. We need excellent politicians willing to stand up to animal cruelty. If you are looking for a reason to vote...vote for animal advocacy and welfare..thank you, Mr. Hardie.

Please watch our video of an extremely skittish dog rescued from a horrific meat dog farm in Korea. This is why we in animal rescue continue to advocate passionately for the welfare of our friends and companions...dogs and cats.
"Mingki was born and raised to be sadistically tortured to death, then eaten. He was cared for by Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, extremely skittish, unpredictable and prolific biter. He was too dangerous for their most experienced fosters. They had no options. Their foundation has rescued over 20,000 dogs…some from extremely horrific and tortuous conditions…this was the one dog they couldn’t train…couldn’t figure out…couldn’t help. Of all the trainers and behaviorists in North America, they reached out to James Tsai for help."

Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation is the charity that brought forth HR 6720 signed into law in December 2018 criminalizing dog and cat meat in the USA.
Thank you to everyone for continuing to push forth our petition. With Honourable Ken Hardie's work, we can make this law.
