We are just 1500 signatures away from our petition reaching our most significant milestone to date of...25,000 signatures. Thank You to EVERYONE who signed and shared it. When we started our petition, we had hoped for 10,000 signatures. It's bittersweet shock knowing that so much of the public wants killing a cat to serve as meat be made illegal. It's disgusting and there's no place for it in an educated society.

Now our next announcement is...we are working on another objective...and that is to have the province review and strengthen animal welfare laws here. To make mandatory spay/neuter and licensing of all dog breeding (this reduces the BYB element).

✔️Provincial Review Proposal UPDATE✔️

In addition to our current animal advocacy objectives on regional and federal levels...we update on our communications (since April 2018) with MLA Jagrup Brar to strengthen British Columbia Animal Welfare Laws.

We expect to receive an official response from the Ministry of Agriculture in the next 4 weeks.

We have proposed a provincial mandatory spay/neuter of all dogs and cats and; licensing of all persons breeding.
