Thank you for sharing and signing our petition to ask the government of Canada to make killing dogs and cats to eat an illegal act. Thank you to our supporters and donors that have helped continue our 2019 petition campaign to ensure dog and cat meat never make it to our dinner table. We do not want any restaurant to secretly use dogs and cats as meat.

Every signature is heard. This petition will be seen by the Prime Minister of Canada through our Member of Parliament, Honourable Ken Hardie. He met with me privately in his office and expressed strong concern that Canada has not already criminalized this gross underground market. He will be speaking with the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Agriculture to ensure we are able to make it a federal crime!
