To begin, I would like to thank my first group of supporters for taking the time out to sign this petition. I feel so very strongly about this and hope that I can push it far enough to make a difference for patients everywhere. This is only part of the process though, as I have also started a movement, and I will be filing a sister petition because of the denial of medications to chronic pain patients, as denying a legitimately ill person medication because of the drug abuse issues on the streets is ludicrous, cruel, and inhumane. And this insurance issue is just ridiculous. Insurance companies give patients the runaround in the hopes that they will eventually take no for an answer, which sometimes people do out of sheer frustration and stress. And it's WRONG! I will keep everyone posted on the progress of this issue, and the status of the upcoming petition regarding pain medications. Stay strong, and don't give up!
