The mother of this shameless man reported this gruesome act of his about two years back but the Patiala police didn't take any action against him. The police apparently didn't find anything objectionable, cruel or illegal. If only this man was punished back then then so many other dogs and puppies would not have died.

A dog was found stabbed in the stomach with the knife still hanging in his body (Pic in the post). Most likely the dog was stabbed for meat. There is an illegal chicken market in Aicher, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

As usual caregivers and dogs staying in a posh apartment in Spring Meadows Greater Noida west, Uttar Pradesh are being threatened to be killed. Few residents staying there are fighting and talking in the most uncivilized manner with a woman caregiver who is trying to protect the dogs. The men seem to know nothing about dog rules 2001 neither they know anything about prevention of cruelty to animals act 1960. Shame on such men who are standing with sticks and threatening to shoot the dogs. They are a curse on education and humanity. They neither know how to behave with animals nor with ladies.

An old dog was dragged on the road tied to a bike just because people in the neighborhood said that the dog bites. This incident has again taken place in Greater Noida. Well, if this is the treatment people will give to a dog then why wouldn't he bite? Anyway the dog was rescued but his condition was not good. A caregiver in Delhi who has been feeding dogs for the last 35 years is all in tears. He had made a temporary dog house for a mother dog and her one day old puppies but the very next day the house was broken. He made the house again and the house was broken again. The person who was breaking the house was a woman who has encroached the land and uses it to iron the clothes of the residents in the area. The land does not belong to her but she had the audacity to break the house and throw the young babies along with the mother in this freezing cold. The lady neither fears law nor God. The caregiver has also called the police but the police was of no help. They did nothing. This is our Delhi police. The police which is suppose to protect the caregiver and the dogs most of the time sides with the dog haters and tormentors. The caregiver is completely shattered and heartbroken. Well, in India the dog abusers and haters are men, women, rich, poor, literate and illiterate. The problem is that the common man of India know nothing about animal laws and nothing about the ABC program or dog rules 2001.

They do not know that beating, killing, abusing or relocating dogs is an offence

They do not know that a dog cannot be relocated from his place. He can only be sterilized and vaccinated

They do not know that a normal dog will never bite without provocation and we humans provoke them all the time. Sometimes by beating them, sometimes by shooing them away, sometimes by throwing hot water on them, sometimes by throwing acid on them, sometimes by keeping them thirsty and hungry and sometimes throwing cold water on their warm blankets and making them wet in the cold freezing winter.

They do not know that dog bite by a normal and healthy dog will not infect them with rabies. A scratch or a bite is not dangerous at all.

They do not know that the caregivers are doing a great service to the society by feeding these homeless dogs and protecting them

They do not know that dogs on the street, in colonies, markets, schools, colleges, offices, bus stands, railway stations, airports etc are community animals whose responsibility is on every citizen of India and not just few of them who are mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically abused by the dog haters.

The animals too deserve to live and live safely......

When will the Chief Ministers, the Animal Welfare Board of India and the various ministries and departments related with animal welfare create awareness about this burning issue? Just how many more dog cruelty cases? How many more tears in the eyes and pain in the heart of the caregivers?

Our leaders it seems have chosen to be blind, deaf and dumb.....
