A man deliberately ran his jeep over dogs sitting on the road (Pic in the post). This is the case of Bhopal the capital of Madhya Pradesh. This is not an accident but an attempt to murder.

On the orders of the CMO of Jawad municipal corporation in Madhya Pradesh stray dogs are being caught and thrown in the jungle. This is the way they are implementing the ABC program to control dog population in their area:

If this is the condition of govt officials in India then what can be expected from.a common man

A caregiver of Malviya Nagar, New Delhi is being harassed and a mother dog and her puppies being tortured. People are kicking the puppies with their legs.  It's rainy season in India and it's pouring very badly in few places. The caregiver had made a small temporary shed of plastic waste material for the dogs but the residents of the area have destroyed the house and are seeking removal of the dogs. They have been abusive with the caregiver as well. The caregiver called the police but instead of protecting the dogs and the caregiver the police sided with the law breakers and asked the caregiver to remove the puppies from there and take them to her home.

A caregiver in India feeds on an average 5 to 10 dogs daily. And this is what they hear all the time. To take all the dogs to their home or to stop feeding the dogs.

Is it practically feasible for a person to keep 5 to 10 dogs inside their homes?

A caregiver  puts his money, physical energy and time in feeding the dogs and taking care of their medical needs and to add to it they also face abuses, scoldings and sometimes physical assaults from the residents.

The least they expect is protection from law but that too is not given to them.because the police turns a blind eye to their suffering and sides with the law breaker like it happened in the above case.

India's large population is still kind. It's the faulty system and bad & corrupt administrators especially at the municipal level who are the main culprits behind animal cruelty.
