Rahul Singla who lost his two monkeys due to the negligent and apathetic behavior of the wild dept of Karnal has still not given up his search for his two monkey babies Simmu & Bajju (Pic in the post). Pawan Sharma and his monkey Bajrangi had a similar experience with the wild dept. He had rescued Bajrangi and his mother about a year back. Bajrangi was raised by Pawan and was like a family member. But the wild dept came to his house and took away Bajrangi. The dept came after a complaint was lodged against Pawan for keeping the monkey in his house.
The wild dept took Bajrangi away from Pawan and left him in a jungle. Yesterday when Rahul was looking for his two monkeys he spotted Bajrangi in a very bad condition. He was badly injured. Rahul reunited Bajrangi with Pawan his human parent. The vet has told Pawan that the injured limb of Bajrangi will be amputated. According to Pawan, Bajrangi was a pet animal. He was raised by them as a family member. It's very hard for such animals to survive in jungle. Still the wild dept took away Bajrangi and threw him in the jungle.
When will the wild dept think sensibly and get out of the complaint mode. Animal Laws have been made to protect animals and not to torture them. Why don't the officials use compassion and a bit of common sense before taking such harsh decisions on animals. They should stop taking action on complaints made by some insane and egocentric human beings. They should take action solely keeping in mind the welfare of animals. A residential society in Mumbai has given orders to its security guards to remove dogs. One can see in the video how the guards are running after dogs with sticks and one of the dog has a broken limb. Another man who seems to be the society management/ RWA is saying that dog bites have increased and the dogs are biting our children. Hence they should not be inside the society and people who want to shower their love and feed the dogs should do that outside. These so called educated people should know that hitting dogs with sticks and depriving them with food and water will only invite dog bites and barks. Such people provoke dogs to bite them and their kids all the time.

Monkeys which were living in the comforts of homes were forced by the forest dept to live in the jungle without food and water and cows which were atleast getting some food in garbage bins and sometimes fed by noble souls on the streets were forced into these govt run shelters to eventually die of hunger and thirst. And the irony is that crores of rupees has been injected by the govt to run these shelters.
What kind of animal management is happening in India? Healthy animals are forced to live in shelters and animals who have homes are forcefully made homeless.
Animal laws should be made and implemented to benefit animals and not vice versa. Policies and laws which harm them should be discarded.
