In a residential society in Udaipur, Rajasthan the residents have made both the life of the dogs living there and their caregiver Gunjan a hell. They often beat the dogs and shoo them away. A female dog had given birth to four pups who were barely one month old. One of them has been beaten to death by the gardener of the society.  The caregiver Gunjan is often abused and harassed by the residents. These are the same people who later accuse the dogs of biting them and their children.  Dogs bite in self defence but these human monsters don't even spare one month old babies who hide themselves under the car just to save their lives.

To watch these human monsters beat the dogs and harass the caregiver kindly go on the link below:

Are really dogs a threat to humans or is it the other way round? After such treatment from humans what will the dogs do? Bite those humans or lick them?

Sachin Tendulkar has adopted an Indian breed dog (pic in the post) and named him Spike.

Let's hope this changes the mind set of people of India, majority of whom consider the Indian breed dog dirty and rabid and therefore adopt only pedigree breed.

A tiger in Uttarakhand was shot and killed by the forest dept. The tiger came into a residential area and killed a girl. Thereafter the people called the forest dept. The people from the forest dept came and instead of catching the tiger they decided to kill the tiger. The tiger was shot dead. Kindly go on the link below to see how the forest dept are taking away the dead body of the tiger.

We have seen how the municipal corporations who are the custodians of Indian stray dogs are actually their worse tormentors. Similarly the forest dept who is suppose to be the custodians of wild animals is actually killing them. The forest dept of Uttarakhand could have used tranquilizer and captured the tiger alive. What was the need to kill the tiger?

Tiger is also India's national animal. If this is how the national animal is being treated then one can well imagine how safe must be other animals in India. In the name of development many forests have been cut down. The animals from the wild are now being forced to enter human colonies. The tiger who was killed so ruthlessly by the forest dept must have been victim of our blind and lopsided development. Man is taking away their homes and when they enter our homes we kill them.

If the govt machinery responsible for the security and safety of animals in India are so cruel and apathetic towards animals then what can be expected from the common man?????? Compassion flows from top to bottom so also cruelty.

If India wants it's citizens to show compassion towards animals then first it is the govt machinery who has to show compassion.
