It's really very shameful that the ABC program is being done by the MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) not only in the most unsystematic manner but also being done in a shabby and negligent  manner. A case of negligence has been reported by a caregiver. Five dogs were picked up for sterilisation and after they have been released four of them have developed infection in their genitals. Pus is oozing out of their stitches. The caregiver doesn't really know if this is normal post sterilisation. Well this is not normal and the dogs have just been dumped post sterilization. The ABC centre which did this horrible thing has done it just to make money. Dogs and their well being is definitely not a priority for them. The MCD and the ABC centre are only interested in the numbers of dogs they sterilise. How many die or survive post sterilisation is not their concern. Such centre have no right to operate and should be banned from running the ABC program.

Few dogs who went for sterilisation were badly infected and sick when they were released back to their original location post sterilization in Mumbai (pic in the post). Thankfully the dogs had caregivers who checked in them and without wasting anytime gave them medical.aid. the dogs are now out of danger.
