The man-man and man-dog conflict is on a rise in Delhi NCR and the rest of India but the municipal corporations who are the custodians of dogs are doing nothing about it. They are neither sensitising people about the ABC program nor telling them.about dog behaviour.
A caregiver family was mobbed by its own residents in Gurgaon, Haryana for feeding the stray dogs in their locality. The dog haters led by the RWA of the colony joined in large numbers and held the family hostage in their car. They shouted slogans against them and blamed them for dog menace. Nothing can be more absurd and nonsensical than this. They accused the family for dogs biting their children. What these people do not realize is that dogs do not bite without provocation. Feeding has no relationship with dogs biting their children. In fact feeding helps the dog to stay calm and happy. They too can start feeding the dogs if they want the dogs to be friendly to them and to their kids. And just imagine if these people can gang up against humans like this then one can well imagine how their behaviour must be with the voiceless dogs of their locality??? It is the parents and their wrong parenting which is responsible for the dogs biting their children. They and they alone are responsible for dogs biting their children and not the caregiver. But the problem is that they just do not know this. Unfortunately most of the conflicts in India are due to ignorance about dog behaviour and the myth that stray dogs are rabid. The good news is that the pups have been rescued by PFA (People for Animals) volunteers.
In a residential colony in Hoshiarpur, Punjab all the residents got together to get a female dog and her pups removed from the place. The dogs do not bite anyone but just see how wicked man has become. They beat the dogs with sticks, keep them hungry and then very mercilessly relocate them.

This is a sad story of Jasmine who died few days back. She had given birth to give puppies but all died. She was a timid dog who was scared of other dogs and also humans. The caregiver had to feed her separately from other dogs. But this docile and sweet dog was beaten mercilessly by a human and in spite of the best efforts by the caregiver Jasmine died. She struggled in pain for two days and finally said goodbye to this cruel world. The caregiver is totally heart broken. It's just not the human cruelty but also the lack of medical facility for these voiceless creatures which is disturbing the caregiver Shashi.

Some criminal minded mischievous person had just for fun tied the back of a dog tightly with a rope (pic in the post) The dog was running here and there in unbearable pain on the streets of Shahadra, East Delhi. Wonder how can anyone enjoy giving pain to any other being? Such people are a curse on humanity.
