A dog was beaten brutally by residents of Omaxe residency society in Ludhiana, Punjab.

Today a caregiver from Rohini, North Delhi has reported that a healthy dog was taken to the Rohini, Sec 27, ABC centre for sterilization but post sterilization when he was dropped back his condition was miserable. He was very sick (pic in the post). Let's hope he survives.
Given below is the message which the caregiver circulated on the animal welfare whatsapp groups.
"Pls kisi bhi bache ko sterilize karwane ke liye rohini sec 27 ke sterilize centre me na bheje dekho kya halat kar di bache ki pls near volunteer waha ja ke baat kijiye kya dikat hai unke centre me kyun bacho ki esi halat karte hai khane ko nahi dete ���� Contact- 95996 08097"
This is not the first time this centre has been in news. Such cases of negligence has been reported in the past too. Wonder why is this centre still operating that too in the capital of India.

What's wrong with we human beings? What kind of cities are we making? Is this how smart cities are built? Looks more like cruel cities.
In Ludhiana the residents beat the dogs to death and in Delhi a caregiver is attacked for saving a dog and the ABC centre is working as a death centre.
There seems to be a complete lack of political will to do anything for these voiceless souls. The Municipal Corporation in Delhi has till date not come out with any kind of awareness programme regarding the ABC programme.
Anyone with a little bit of common sense will know that without people's participation and community awareness the ABC programme will never succeed. Yet the municipality and the govt is doing nothing about it. The reasons for their silence is best known to them.
This everyday torture of dogs and the caregivers has become unbearable.
It's better the Indian govt Euthanize all the animals. Atleast the animal will be put to sleep in a humane manner.
India is no longer the land of peace, non violence and tolerance. It's becoming the land of hypocrites who worship Lord Hanuman and Lord Bhiarav and at the same time not hesitate to torture monkeys and dogs.
May be it's the influence of our neighbours (China and Pakistan). Because our ancestors were not one bit like them. Be it Budhha, Mahavira or Gurunanak.
Today neither Women are safe nor animals in this country. Laws are weak and implementation of laws are weaker.
