Many caregivers in India do nothing to save their furry friends from being killed or abused. They just watch cruelty as mute spectators. The brave ones who post videos of human atrocities towards their four legged friends and make a police complaint against them are just a handful of them.
Unfortunately the sad reality is that majority of the caregivers in India suffer silently without raising their voice against any kind of injustice being done to them or to their furry friends.
An incident has been reported from CC block Shalimar Bagh, Delhi where the residents of the colony with the help and support of the RWA (Resident Welfare Association) president have killed 6 adult dogs (pic in the post). One of the dogs was beaten up by the guard and when the dog died they run a car over him just to show that the dog was killed in a car accident. These Indian monsters do not know that beating a dog to death or crushing the dog under the wheels are both punishable offences. How corrupt and cruel we Indians have become?
The Caregiver is probably a witness to all this cruelty but is hesitant to go to the police. The link below shows the whatsapp chat where the caregiver who is also the reporter is saying to her fellow friend that her husband has asked her not to go to the police and that he will.speak to the president. Also in the conversation the Friend is telling her that Lord Krishna has said that one who witnesses cruelty and does not take any action against the sinners is also a sinner. The people who indulge in any form of cruelty are sinful and the ones who silently become victims of cruelty without raising their voice are also sinners. How well said.
If no action is taken against the human monsters today then it's quite likely that they will kill more dogs in future.
The RWA has no legal power yet they are so powerful in urban cities of India.
They take animal laws into their hands and misguide the whole society. Just read the conversation on the whatsapp and see how the residents are being asked for their suggestions to get rid of the dogs in their colony.
Why are these people asking for suggestion when there is only one legal dog solution. And that is to get all the dogs of the society sterilized and vaccinated.
The whatsapp conversation not only tells us about how much majority of the Indians hate stray dogs but also that they know nothing about dog rules (that they cannot relocate them or kill them) and the ABC programme.
Getting the dogs sterilized and immunized against rabies is the only option Indians have for stray dog population.
The Delhi administration and the MCD ( Min cipal Corporation of Delhi) has completely failed in creating this most important awareness. Had they done this then probably the 6 dogs who have lost their lives for no fault of theirs would have been alive with us today. And we would not have been talking about sending the culprits involved in getting the dogs killed in jail because that is what they deserve.
Unfortunately the RWAs are the self proclaimed rulers of colonies who consider themselves above Indian law and take decisions not by sanity but by majority votes. By votes which often lead to insane, illegal and immature decisions.
These are the people who are elected by majority votes of the residents and to please their cherished voters these fools are ready to do anything. JUST ANYTHING.......
