This is a case of Raibareilly, Uttar Pradesh where a car hit a dog and then dragged him for half a kilometre. The car driver would have dragged him further had the public not stopped him. The dog is in a very critical condition with his face totally smashed and one leg amputated. Many people after seeing his suffering want him to be put to sleep. The dog has currently been shifted to Lucknow where he is undergoing treatment. But what is shocking is that the police is not registering an FIR against the driver who has committed this gruesome crime. According to them the accident has not been captured on the CCTV camera.
Now how idiotic is this? The victim is in his death bed and there were witnesses who saw all this and even stopped the driver of the car and took the dog to the hospital but the police wants CCTV proof to lodge the complant. An incident from Amritsar, Punjab has been reported where the dog owners were found conducting dog fights. This is quite common in the state of Punjab. During such fights although the human monsters enjoy watching the fight but the dogs go through hell both the ones who win as well as those who lose. In this case one of the dogs has lost an eye.
