Petition updateMake India canine rabies free. By implementing ABC rules not Killing, Relocating DogsLawlessness prevails in East Delhi and Noida (Delhi NCR): Caregiver beaten and Dog tortured

On 9th April an elderly woman Sharbati (in the pic) was beaten up by her neighbours in East Vinod Nagar in East Delh for feeding the dogs. Sharbati and her daughter Anupama feed the stray dogs living in the area which the neighbours do not like. The people in their area are quite intolerant towards dogs. After the incident Sharbati and her daughter  went to the nearest police station (Kalyanpuri) and logded a complaint against their neighbours. Thereafter the police took Sharbati to a govt hospital for  medical check up. But till now they have neither received any medical report nor the police has taken any action against the accused ( Reported by Hema - 9818997626)

This is not something new that the mother and daughter are facing in the colony where it seems monsters live. They are living in constant hell for quite sometime and it seems the police is hand in gloves with the criminals.

About few months back in the month of January few of their stray dogs went missing. As per law stray dogs can not be relocated. They can only be taken for Sterilization.

After searching for their dogs everywhere they finally decided to make a missing complaint with the Kalyanpuri police station. That was also the election time so the police kept delaying the investigation. But it's been now three months and police has taken no action. No clue about dogs. Anupama cries for them every night. Are they dead or alive only God knows?

This incident was reported in one of the posts. To read more in detail about the cruelty which our system is doing with the voiceless and the caregivers kindly go on the link below:

Had the police taken action in the very first incident of dog relocation and the the culprits got punished then probably today Sharbati and her daughter would not have faced so much humiliation. Imagine a lady being beaten up. No wonder Delhi is so unsafe for women .

And if the second time too the police doesn't take any action against the miscreants then they are inviting a third incident to happen very soon. East Vinod Nagar has become a hub of lawlessness and dog cruelty. And all because of weakness in the implementation of law. The crime and criminals go unpunished and the system is responsible for it.

Anyway incidents of cruelty doesn't end here. An incident of dog cruelty was reported in the previous post but the sad part is that the accused who tortured the dog is still at loose.

On 8th April a dog in Noida ( Delhi NCR) was tortured in the most inhuman manner by a doctor. He first banged the dog against his gate, literally crushing him with it, beat him with sticks and then tied him with a rope to his bike and dragged him through and then ultimately dumped him in the bushes. Rajkumar the owner of the dog called the police and Kavari Rana of PFA (People for Animals). The dog was immediately admitted to the PFA shelter and a case against the doctor  (Chandrapal) was registered but unfortunately the doctor has still not been arrested. To add to this the doctor has the audacity to make a threatening call to the owner that if he doesn't withdraw his complaint against him then he will kill him.

Just what kind of a doctor is this man?

All over the world the doctors are being thanked and saluted for being the brave soldiers fighting the war against Corona. And here is a doctor in Noida who is busy killing a dog and now threatening to kill the owner if   he doesn't withdraw the case.

Shame on such doctors who malign the noble medical profession and the doctors.

What is the  Uttar Pradesh police doing? What more investigation do they need to carry out? Why is the man still at loose?

Anyway this is nothing new in Noida. Many such cruel incidents against dogs have happened in the past.

If the situation of caregivers and dogs is so pathetic in Delhi and Delhi NCR then one can well imagine what it must be like in other parts of India.

Both the incidents have taken place at night and that too during lockdown.

The state govts have stopped issuing feeding passes to the feeders, just because they don't want people to come out of their homes  but what about people who are coming out of their homes to beat the dogs and caregivers?

Shouldn't severe action be taken against such monsters?

After all they are guilty of breaking two laws: lockdown and animal cruelty
