It's not that the city is devoid of animal lovers or good and humane people. It is because of such people that the animal life is still thriving and alive in the city.
The famous Bollywood singer Shaan has come out with a video which urges people not to abandon their pets as they don't spread COVID 19 virus.
The birds who were almost dying of hunger and thirst at the Gateway of India have been fed by animal lovers. The problem had started when the police had stopped people from feeding the birds.
