6 pups who are barely fifteen days old were left to die on the night of 17 th March 2020 right in front of a government run dispensary (Tis Hazari). The pups were tied up in a sack and dumped near the hospital.

The reporter Jatin (M-9958802377) found the pups. He untied the sack and got them all out. One pup has died. The pups are motherless and need to to be fed.

Is it Jatin's responsibility to feed the dogs? He is doing everything possible to find a foster home for the pups but till now no success. This is the message he has sent to all social media groups:

"6 puppies abandoned in a sack outside tis Hazari hospital ,Delhi
One has died out of hunger
Pls help us out , we need a lactating dog mother for them ,else some experienced fosters who could hand raise them .
Please come forward
We would not leave them with u permanently , will try for adoptions/fosters alongside .
Don't ignore

Relocation of dogs is an offence. But just how many people are aware of it?

There is complete ignorance of law and those who know it have no fear of law.

The municipal corporations are only busy making rabies poster that too incomplete and misleading ones. They have only created fear in the minds of the people towards the man's best friend.

Let's see what prompted the person  (the law breaker) to relocate the pups:

1 fear of rabies

2 overpopulation of dogs

Well, if these are the two reasons for relocating the pups then the person who has done it is  absolutely justified and in his eyes and in the eyes of his neighbours he has not committed any crime. Rather he has saved his kids and neighbours from being infected by rabies and dog overpopulation.

What the people who indulge in relocation or  killing or shooing the dogs do not know is that every dog is not rabid therefore hugging it or touching it will not infect anyone with rabies. And rabies can be easily prevented by getting the dogs vaccinated.

The problem of overpopulation can also be minimised and curtailed by getting the dogs sterilized.

Also dogs will  never bite if he is treated with love and kindness. He is given food and water and not sticks and sandals.

Wish, the municipal corporation of Delhi had focused on these issues rather than focusing on obnoxious rabies poster.

Just fail to understand that why the corporations are not creating awareness  about the ABC programme and holding annual rabies vaccination programmes for stray dogs?  Which is the only lawful and feasible solution to be working on.

If they had done this then probably today the mother dog would not be without her kids and the kids homeless without their mother.

Imagine what the mother of the pups must be going through? She must have gone mad looking for her pups everywhere.

Well, if people don't know this. The agony and pain of losing kids is the same for an animal as that of a human. It's just that they cannot speak like humans.

Unfortunately the system cannot hear the cries of the mother whose kids have been relocated nor it can hear the voices of the hungry pups who are nearing death every single second because it has chosen to be dum and deaf.

The system by  it's faulty and anti dog policies has not only  created man-dog and man-man conflict  but has also committed a sin which is unpardonable.

Just how many more sins will the system watch silently.......
