Received a call from Chris Parish who represents the Idaho Southwest Area Agency in Aging.  He received our business card and reached out to our office.

Our directors had in-length conversation with him.  At the end of the conversation he chalked up citizens' stories of trying to report senior abuse as merely just "bad customer service" on the behalf of the department he represents.

Hold the Door for Humanity Inc did offer our help in any way we are able to.  Together our Directors have over 60 years of combined customer service experience, mostly in a government structured setting.

We were met with what seemed as disregard, yet Mr. Parish did say that as the final decision maker of who the Southwest Area Agency on Aging gets to work with, he would give our office a call if needed in the future.

Since then, we have been reaching out to other Area Agency on Aging offices and the Idaho Commission on Aging to see if we can assist them.  Not only assist them in helping create a department that investigates all senior abuse reports, but also to assist in any customer service education that would benefit their department.

If "bad customer service" is what is killing our loved ones and allowing Idaho seniors to live in abusive situations, as Mr. Parish has suggested, then let's also focus on a solution to provide education where it's lacking and save our seniors!

Check back for more updates as they come in.  Thank you for your support.
