A new Ontario issue I’m working on

Thank you again to everyone who added their voice to the Cox Creek petition. More than 6,000 people came together around an issue that mattered to our community, and I remain incredibly grateful for that support.

I’m reaching out today because I’ve become involved in another issue affecting communities across Ontario: protecting the agricultural land that feeds us.

Bill 21, the Protect Our Food Act, is currently before the Ontario Legislature. I’ve launched a separate #Foodbelt campaign to help people learn about the bill, farmland protection, and ways to get involved.

If this is an issue that matters to you too, I invite you to learn more at Foodbelt.ca and consider adding your name to the new petition to help people learn about the bill, farmland protection, and ways to get involved.

This is a separate campaign from the Cox Creek petition, and there is absolutely no expectation that supporting one means supporting the other. I simply wanted to give this community the opportunity to learn about it and decide for themselves.
