February 6 call-to-action: Permanently Pedestrianize Hayes Street

Hello car-free Hayes supporters,
Thanks to all of you, on November 7th the SFMTA's committed to studying a permanent pedestrianized Hayes Street over 6 months.
We're 3 months into that 6 month period, so I'd like to use this opportunity to remind SFMTA of our community's commitment to a pedestrianized Hayes Street.

Subject: Item 9 Public Comment: Establish a permanent pedestrianized Hayes Street
SFMTA Board:
On November 7, 2023, the Board approved item 10.5, resolution 231107-090, to "study a potential permanent street closure of Hayes Street and report back to the Board within six months".
We are now halfway through that 6 month period. I'm writing to reaffirm support for a 24/7 pedestrianized Hayes Street. This aligns with San Francisco's Transit First, Climate Action, and Vision Zero goals.
Other cities are outpacing San Francisco in pedestrianization, not only global leaders like Barcelona, Copenhagen, and Paris, but our neighbors including Mountain View, Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Jose, San Mateo, and Sunnyvale:
