UPDATE TO SHARE - Green Lanes N16 petition

Hi Everyone, We need another push to get this petition numbers up. While they did at last tarmac the section between Newington green and Burma Road, there is still more that needs to be done on this small and dangerous stretch. Both councils (Hackney and Islington) need to act upon their promises that they have made. Last promise was 2020 (see link below).  

We need our concerns answered so children, adults and cyclist can feel safe. So we need cycle lanes, parking bays considered for removal where the road narrows, so the buses can past easily. The 3 pedestrian crossing considered - do we need all 3?  Trees planted to make more green and counter act the pollution increase by the cars. We need it to made clear to cars that you can't speed down this stretch of Green Lanes, like so many do. We all know there are accidents on this stretch all the time and near misses on zebra crossings.  So please share! Thanks everyone
