Thank you to everyone who signed and shared this petition, and/or submitted a written comment to the WCPSS School Board!  THEY HEARD OUR COLLECTIVE VOICE!  The next school board meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, 8/2/2022.  Based on their feedback, we are anticipating the School Board will vote in favor of amending the 2022-2023 school calendar for 11/8/2022, so that students are not in schools on Election Day.  Please consider submitting a written comment thanking the board for their work and commitment to student safety.  In addition, respectfully request they make this change for all primary and general elections going forward, when planning future WCPSS academic calendars.
