Today is former president Andrew Jackson's birthday. He served from 1829 to 1837. He is known for helping with the foundation of the Democratic party (though the party was much different than what it is today, back then some beliefs were in line with the modern Republican party. Some may still be like the modern democratic party). He had served in both chambers of Congress for Tennessee, serving in the Senate from September 1797 to resignation the following April and again from 1823 to 1825, and in the House from 1796 to 1797. He has been a more controversial president as he was cited as an advocate for working Americans but his policies had been deemed racist, particularly against Native Americans. Trump had cited his favorite president is Jackson. 

We haven't gained a single signature since I last updated the other day. Remember to share as much as you can. I'm doing the best I can but it still seems like we're going nowhere. We need 11 more signatures to have 100 signatures. I'll likely won't get them on my own, so I kindly ask to share or reshare if you haven't already. My goal is to reach 100 by the end of the month.
