Today is the first day of the new month. We haven’t reached 50 signatures though I wanted to reach that by the end of the day yesterday. This one's still 46. Remember I want to reach 100 by the end of 2024. Remember I constantly send these updates to encourage everyone to share as I know these updates are sent to signers’ email inboxes. These updates move the petition up in recency when it comes for the tags, making it easier to find there and more likely people to find and sign. It also gives more words for the petition to make it easier to find in the website search system. I find it would be good to cover special days in the United States as the two petitions I’m working on are about change in the United States (which updates would be similar or the same between the two).

There are two special days that land on December 1. December 1st is National Cookie Cutter Day and World AIDS Day. National Cookie Cutter Day highlights the importance of Cookie cutters, especially since Christmas is around the corner. AIDS Day is meant to spread the awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It is also to mourn who died from it. My paternal grandmother had died from complications from HIV/AIDS in 1990 right before treatment for it came out, 17 years before I was born (now I am 17). Freddie Mercury had died from complications from HIV/AIDS. 

For birthdays, Riz Ahmed was born on this day in 1982. He is known for playing Carlton Drake/Riot in Venom. He also played Rick in Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal.
