Not long ago this petition reached 25 signatures. I feel like the free promotion I activated on Tuesday for the 5 signature benchmark really helped it grow (it was until Tuesday I realized I had to press the button to activate it). The next benchmark is 50 signatures. I don't know how much more this free promotion is gonna go. I do encourage everyone who has already signed to help as much as possible. It could be as simple as leaving a comment on the petition of why we should have election day as a federal holiday that would add up upon my reasoning. I have added a bunch of tags. At least 50 for all 50 states. Even a couple for heavily populated cities. That's at least for making where the petition could be easier to be searched. I encourage everyone who has already signed to do as much as they can, as in leaving a comment or sharing with people they know or promoting, as what I was doing with the free promotion and tags might not be enough, even if I keep hammering it in in every update.  I always mention it as that would help get it more signatures and it'll be more likely to happen. I like to aim before the 2028 election to get it passed and I want to get a head start by stressing it out now, less than a week after the 2024 election. I plan on giving updates every time we reach a signature goal.
