Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and supported this petition so far. Since starting it, I’ve been working on turning the passion behind it into something more concrete.

I’ve now launched The ACT Foundation (Achieving Change for Tomorrow), a charity in progress that focuses on prevention. Our mission is to teach children and young people about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), resilience, and healthy relationships, so they can break cycles of abuse and violence before they begin.

The petition showed there is real public demand for education on domestic violence in schools. The ACT Foundation is the next step in making that a reality. We’re starting locally with schools and families in Liverpool, with the long-term goal of influencing national policy so prevention is built into the curriculum everywhere.
