This is the Mermicorno: Starfall Community Hub.
There are rumors that our "London" has fallen. They are true.
As I write this, the ink is drying on the merger papers. The corporate banners of the new regime are being raised over the studios we once trusted. The creative leaders who brought the tokidoki world to life have been sidelined, and the "defense" of our original, uncensored vision has reached a breaking point.
For the first time since the first shell fell, a new power stands upon the soil of our fandom. We have fought on the social media threads, we have fought on the petition pages, and we have fought in the comment sections of the executives. But the weight of the corporate debt and the silence of the new board is too great.
But here is the bitter truth we must face:
An occupied city cannot be rebuilt if its citizens have all fled. We are currently "signing off" through boycotts and cancellations, but we must understand the cost. David Ellison and the new board do not see our absence as a protest; they see it as a lack of interest. They have made it clear: A Season 3 will only be granted if the show is popular. By boycotting, we are starving the very thing we are trying to save. We are burning the city to keep the invaders from having it, but in doing so, we ensure that nothing remains for us to return to.
If we continue to sign off, if we continue to stay away from the official platforms, the "King" won't just be in safety—the "King" will be forgotten.
This is the Community Hub, signing off for the last time from the old era. Whether we rise again in a new era of Starfall depends on whether we decide to show the world that this IP is too popular to kill—or if we let the broadcast go silent forever.
God save the show.
