The Prime Minister just named the harm in Parliament!

On 25 June, in Question Time, the Prime Minister named chatbots as the first area of concern for Australian children. He spoke about harm happening in children's bedrooms, about parents who lost their kids, and about the need for this parliament to be courageous.
He is right that the harm is real. But the response still does not reach the apps that hurt my daughter.
The government is talking about strengthening the under-16 social media ban. That is not the same thing. AI companion and roleplay apps are not the handful of named platforms a ban like that covers.
They are thousands of interchangeable services, and they need to be treated as adult only, the same way we already treat alcohol, gambling and pornography.
So our ask has not changed. It has only become more urgent. Make these apps 18+, enforce real age verification, and extend the $49.5 million penalty so it covers them.
Please do the one thing that makes a petition impossible to ignore: share it with one other parent today.
The Prime Minister said there is more to do. This is the more.
Thank you for your support.
