Thank you so much for signing and sharing over the past couple of years. Now it is time to make your voice heard where it really counts. 

The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) is publishing a new set of guidelines for the treatment of cUTI. These new guidelines do not mention MicroGen, or NGS at all despite these tests being better for both patients and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), both of which the guidelines claim to care about. 

The guidelines are now open for public comment and will be until March 19th. Now is the time for us to reach out to the IDSA with comments/concerns for them to change it before it becomes official.

Can you please visit https://www.idsociety.org/practice-guideline/complicated-uti/ and comment on their form your story and that you feel NGS should be an option for consideration if normal treatment fails for cUTI's. Insurance companies will continue to deny patients coverage until NGS  makes it into these society guidelines.
