Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and shared this petition! It really makes my bad days a little better to know there are people out there who care or can relate. 

For those of you who are going through something similar, I wanted to let you know about the other types of testing you can ask for. There is PCR, or polymerase chain reaction testing, which is a type of DNA sequencing, like the MicroGenDX that I finally got. Here is an article comparing this type of testing to the standard urine culture. 

There is also the Expanded Quantitative Urine Culture, which is capable of detecting growing microorganisms that would normally show as "no growth" on a standard culture.

I wish I had known about these options a lot sooner in this journey, and I hope starting this petition and sharing this info helps other women who suffer like me. Please continue to share this petition with everyone you know- it could help someone, a lot of us suffer in silence due to the nature of this infection.
