Dear Malaysians of all communities, I am pledging for your support on animal humane course for stray dogs or cats. In recent months, we have read news about various majlis perbandaran authorities shooting or killing strays dogs (so far, hopefully not extending to cats yet). I am writing to urge the authority to deploy the Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) method practised by animal welfare groups. The conventional way of killing/ shooting has again and again proven a failed methodology. Not only it is costly, the increase in number of strays animals is an evidence such killing method is ineffective as well.  Worse, it portray Malaysian society as inhuman and cold. We Malaysians of all walks of life are caring people and let’s keep it this way.
