KTH's language courses provide programme students with opportunities to develop linguistic and intercultural competence alongside their technical education. Recent cancellations of language courses due to low enrolment have raised serious concerns about the future of this part of KTH's educational offering.

We ask KTH to:

1. Maintain language courses for programme students as part of KTH's educational offering.
2. Review the current minimum-enrolment requirement and consider a more flexible approach for language courses, particularly at higher levels.
3. Take into account the educational, internationalisation, community-building and progression value of these courses when evaluating whether they should be offered.
4. Provide students with clearer and earlier information about course cancellations.
