Hey everyone! The school has recently announced on their website that they will be charging for parking. In light of this announcement, I've reached out to the school through Instagram to ask them to send through an email to all students. Instead of responding to me publicly, the schools Instagram page has removed the comments from their recent post and decided to follow me, which I felt was an intimation tactic. This act to silence my efforts to try and fight this new parking fee feels sneaky and wrong. Honesty is a fundamental piece of the catholic traditional and should be a value of a Catholic university, which St.Mary's identifies as. My frustration regarding this topic stems from the secrecy that surrounded this decision, as it was only made aware to select people and required effort to find the information anywhere online, as when one searches "Stmu parking" one of the first links still states "At St. Mary's University, parking is always free and plentiful!". Regardless of their delayed announcement of this new implementation of paid parking, still cannot support them in good faith as they tried to keep it a secret until they had too many student who were aware. 

I will continue the updates for everyone on what is going on and what my next steps will be to take action against against the schools decision. Thanks for all the support we have received so far, keep fighting
