"Yash why do you need shoes? You can go without them to school today na?"

"Huh..! Why! I always wear shoes. Otherwise stones will prick my feet... they'll get dirty..!"

"Did you know that more than half the children in the country have no shoes. What do we do then?"

(Thinks for a moment) "I'll give mine. I have another."

That is the heart of a child. To innately share. But we can't shoe the whole country with the generosity of children. Authorities responsible for the welfare of children need to pitch in and make right this long standing issue. It's CHILDREN'S DAY! It's been a difficult year for children. Please give them something to cheer about.
