Isn't it disturbing? It is jarring to see children traverse such unsanitary conditions to get their rightful education. I started this petition a year back. But the battle has been so uphill I only ended up frustrated not knowing how to proceed further. Dear changemakers I'm so grateful for the support the cause has gathered so far. But our fight does not end here!!

As reopening of schools seems imminent, this is a long standing issue that needs a solution immediately. Having seen the picture, would you send your child out on the streets barefeet like this?
In the time of pandemic when hygiene is key shouldn't basic needs as shoes be addressed first?
