On behalf of the petition signers, owners of New Vitara or S-Cross models, I would like to bring to your attention an issue that we are noticing related to high vibrations inside our vehicles.

This is felt  as a steering wheel jarring sometimes while the car is idling; this tends to happen once the engine RPM drops below a certain level. The issue manifests itself on both diesel and gasoline engines.

I would also like to suggest a solution to the problem, namely a non-compulsory software update to the ECU that would raise the minimum idling RPM by a value of around 100 - 200, or  some other value that you see fit.
