Hello Allina nurse supporters! Thank you all for signing this petition to Brian Rosenberg calling on him to support striking Allina nurses. As I'm sure you all saw, on Monday nurses voted to reject a bargaining proposal from Allina health. It's more important than ever that we continue to support nurses who have been on strike for a month now. Keep sending this petition to other alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff at Macalester! We've also got a great opportunity for you to come show your support for nurses tomorrow. Penny Wheeler, the CEO of Allina Health is speaking at an event on health care cost containment. We'll be meeting up at the United Hospital picket line (333 Smith Ave N, St Paul, MN 55102) at 9:30am and then marching to the St. Paul River Centre. I hope you can all join us tomorrow!
