Hey Team Aaliyah For MAC, We hit 16,300! YAY! xo. This is all great, but we need to have a heart 2 heart. Do you want the Aaliyah MAC Collection to happen? How bad do you want it to happen? Because so far we haven't made it happen. This campaign, this dream of honoring Aaliyah in this way is down to US! Lots of you are wondering "Why hasn't MAC made the deal yet?" It may be due to how long we are taking to get to a high signature count. MAC Selena happened we believe because all of Selena's fans came together pushed the petition & signed. They got 10,000 signatures in less than 2 days! WE GOT 10,000 SIGS in 4 MONTHS. This could be a reason MAC didn't right away say "YES" to Rashad (Aaliyah's Brother). We want to SUGGEST STRONGLY that if YOU know an AALIYAH FANPAGE on SOCIAL MEDIA who isn't PUSHING THE CAMPAIGN , PLEASE ASK THEM TO! We need visibility , perhaps if all the fanpages , fans , beauty fans post about Aaliyah For MAC (Especially on IG) all at once, MAC will be IMPRESSED by OUR DEMAND FOR THIS! If not we can kick back , collect sign after sign and see nothing happen. Campaigns NEED PASSION! LETS BRING THE PASSION! We appreciate everyone who has continued to participate, who has made edits, who has PUSHED this . We see all of that, and know who is working hard to try and secure this for Aaliyah!
