Duchess of Sussex eats kangaroo meat and puts unborn baby at risk

It has come to our attention that Mission Australia have irresponsibly served the Duchess of Sussex kangaroo meat whilst she and Prince Harry were visiting Australia.  Kangaroo meat is NOT safe for any pregnant woman to consume as it can be contaminated with Toxoplasmosis.  This can cause spontaneous abortions, birth defects in the unborn foetus and even death.  A Queensland woman's baby was born blind in 1995 when she and 12 others consumed the contaminated meat.  Kangaroo meat that has been tested of the shelf at supermarkets have tested positive for unsafe levels of E Coli and Salmonella.  Kangaroos are heavily burdened with worms which are never treated.  Kangaroos are NOT farmed, or killed in an abattoir which many consumers believe is the case. Instead they are killed at night in the paddocks by shooters (which is completely unpoliced at point of kill), these shooters then hang the opened carcass on the back of their un-refrigerated trucks where they will sit for anything up to 15 hours before even getting near a cold storage unit. These 'cold storage units' are old shipping containers which have been converted into a freezer, many have poor seals on them, are rusty, takes days for the carcasses to chill down and freeze and the containers are opened each morning to load more hot kangaroo bodies into them, at times stacking the bodies so close together that no air can circulate to chill down the carcass. It has also been found that it is not uncommon in remote areas for pig carcasses to be hanging along side the kangaroo carcasses. The Food Safe standards are an absolute joke when it comes to ensuring and protecting the consumer's health. The Australian Government know all of this information and yet to them, the greed for keeping a few people in work, far outweighs the responsibility to do the right thing and ensure this industry also complies with what is required for all other slaughtered meat markets in Australia. Can you imagine what would happen if a farmer refused to send his livestock to an abattoir  for slaughter and processing and instead chose to kill the animals on his own property by hanging it up on a hook on his truck outside in the afternoon or morning sun, with blow flies, dust and manure covering the carcasses???.  Well this is how kangaroo meat is processed. The government regularly state that thousands of jobs will be lost if the industry closes down.  This LIE together with many other lies are told to the public, simply to protect a handful of individuals who are involved in this business Australia wide.  One has to wonder what is really the underlying force which keep the government turning a blind eye to this unhygienic and filthy trade. Shooters trucks and equipment (knives, steels, traybacks etc) have been regularly seen on TV programs, still having dried blood on them from previous kills. And still the public remain silent about these appalling conditions of next to no hygiene within this industry. One must also remember, that there are no 'toilets' in the middle of paddocks, should a shooter need to visit the bathroom either. All we can hope is that the Duchess does not contract Toxoplasmosis and that her baby is born alive and healthy. There are no warning labels that alert the public to these health risks. A new study has also shown that of all red meat, Kangaroo has a compound called L-Carnitine, which is what causes plaque to form in the arteries of the heart. So kangaroo is NOT healthy for humans or pets. Both are treated with sulphur dioxide to prevent putrification and spoiling of the meat and to increase the shelf life.
